摘要：

"城市文化资本"已成为影响城市经济增长的一种新的资本解释变量,为此对"城市文化资本"进行测定和计量就显得十分必要。在回顾前人研究的基础上,提出了一个测度和计量"城市文化资本"的指标体系,并应用该指标体系对2008年江苏省13个地级市的"城市文化资本"进行了实证测度。研究表明,城际间"城市文化资本"存在显著差异和不平衡性。从总体上看,江苏各地级市的"城市文化资本"是南部强于北部,沿江地区强于沿海地区与内陆地区。

Abstract: It is now necessary to determine and measure "urban cultural capital" as it has become a new explanatory capital variable with a significant impact on urban economic growth.Based on the review of the previous studies,an index system was proposed to measure the variable,which was then applied to evaluate the development level of the variable of 2008 in 13 prefecture-level city of Jiangsu Province.The results suggested that the south is better than the north,and the riverside areas are superior to the coastal areas and inland areas.
